I have been working on Blue Moon Angel the last few days.
Here is a close up of the moon which is what I am working on. That beige jumping all over the place about makes me cross eyed at times.
And here is Jack’s kitty. It is looking really nice now and more like a kitty every day.
And here is my Rainbow bridge piece. I will finish the twigs and leaves around the word rainbow and then I will go on to the word bridge. It really isn’t much longer until I will move on to page 2. Yippee!
And I leave you with the amazing Miss Bug. Today she is in nurse mode because Jack is having a flair up of pain and swelling in his right foot. She has been keeping a close watch on her charge. So be blessed dear ones and God keep you until we visit again.

Once again Katie the bed hog! LOL! She is such a turkey!
And here is our little sunbather! Nothing she loves better except maybe eating!
How many ways can one little katie-Bug find to sleep in the bed? Well, at least 3! Here she is all tucked and comfy.
I see feet but where is the rest?
And this is often what I find when I am ready for bed. Being the last person in is not a good thing. Katie fights for what she sees as HER chunk of bed. I am glad she is small enough to just move!
Happy DOT everyone and God bless. Smile and cuddle your dog and hug the ones you love.
Hello, my name is Shorty and I am a 5 year old standard doxie. I now live with Katie at her house. See the nice lady in the picture with me? That is Bev and she called my new mom and dad Thursday and told them all about me. See Bev lives about an hour away and she has a friend that manages the pound there and that is where I was. Anyway, she came that day because it had been a long time since she was able too. She has been very ill. She found out I was on the list to be put to sleep because no one had come to adopt me. I don’t understand why because I have very good manners. I love to cuddle, and I sing too! So Bev called and told them all about me and they said I could come live here!
Here I am sitting with Dad in his chair. It is so comfy!
Katie and I love to bark when people walk by!
I like to beg for everything yummy!
Yes, life is good and I am so happy here too. I got to go to Springfield yesterday and met some real nice people who gave me a lot of love and cookies too! Then we went for frozen custard and Katie and I got some! It was good and I ate mine very quickly!
Please remember if you get a pet to think about those of us in pounds and rescue groups. We make great companions and you just might save a life.
Hope these bring a smile.
Hello everyone! Come on in and let’s visit a bit. What do you think of this piece of cross stitch? It is a free chart from my friend Sandra. I printed it out and think I will do it in shades of either burgundy or sage green. Here is a link if you want to download the chart for yourself. Joyful Expressions.
Now would you like a piece of freshly baked strawberry cake? Topped with whip topping and more strawberries and a few red sprinkles.
After that we can tip toe in and smile at Katie who is sleeping away in the den. She got a new big comfy bed to sleep on in here and just loves it. She often gets to really snoring away!
Thanks for coming to visit. God bless you and have a wonderful week. See you soon.
Where is the redo button? Who is hiding it? LOL! We have all had one of those weeks. First we went to look at a friend for Katie Sunday afternoon. Some pics follow. The dog was NOT what we were led to believe she was so that was a bust. Then later that night we lost our hot water and put out a call for our plumber to come out Monday. Later that night we heard a loud noise but thought nothing much of it as it sounded like it was outside. Well, Monday morning we get a call from the city that one of their workers had come past the house and noticed water rushing out the front of the crawl space. So they came out and shut it off and there we were without water. The plumber came by and thought with the temps in the teens that a pipe had burst. A lot of people had frozen and broken pipes and he was swamped. Plus he could not get under the house. More about this at the end of the post. So we ended up going to a motel to spend the night just before the ice and snow hit. It was a slick ride home the next day and by mid afternoon we had water again. But Monday night I started having toothaches that at times even hurt into my ear so now I have to go and have a couple pulled. I only have 13 teeth left and they all need to go so I will do 2 or 3 at a time and soon they will be gone. I am sure I will feel so much better. Anyway on to the pics and I must find that redo button!
Let me at them geeses mom!
Look at the drumstick on that chicken mom!
I ain’t never seen anything like that! So after that silliness some stitching!
Jack’s latest project. This is a kit he looked for a very long time. Finally he found the last one Hobby Lobby had since it had been discontinued.
I am happy to say I am getting back into my stitching. Inching along on the Ruth project. With all that has been going on I just really lost the desire to do any of my hobbies.
Here they come to dig out so they can get under the house. The way it was done was impossible for any but the smallest person to get under there. With us sitting on a light incline, the way the house was built and all, they had to dig down and put a basement window well thing. A very small one I might add. And with the temps, and the ice they could not dig by hand. They will come back next week to put a bigger basement window well in and fill it all in nicely. So see ya soon. God bless.
